The goals of our SAFENOWPROJECT TAKE FIVE SAFER STEPS TO BE SAFE NOW® are to:
- Empower adults and children about their right to safety;
- Enhance the natural protections of children and adults within the community against child sexual abuse;
- Introduce a discussion between adults and children that discusses actions that promote safety; and
- Unify an approach that could be reinforced in the community.
Part of this education material has been donated by SAFENOWPROJECT for use with the national Neighborhood Watch program to engage communities in the promotion of prevention and child protection.
TAKE FIVE SAFER STEPS TO BE SAFE NOW® utilizes our mascot MOLLY MEERKAT to help teach children about safety.
